Special Sacred Heart of Jesus

With the cult of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the Catholic Church wish to honour the Heart of Jesus Christ, one of the organs symbolizing his humanity which, due to the intimate union with the Divinity, has the right to adoration and the love of the Savior for men, with His Heart as symbol.

The Solemnity of the Sacred Heart has a flexible date and it is celebrated on the Friday after Corpus Domini.
