Description
Dragon's blood. The dragon's blood is a red colored resin, obtained from several different plants: Croton, Dracaena, Daemonorops, Calamus and Pterocarpus. This resin was used in the past for various different purposes: laquering wood, medicine, as incense and dye. Nowadays it still is used for such purposes, even though much less than before due to its elevated cost.
