Advent

In this section you may find the Candles for the Advent Wreath, all of them made of first quality italian wax. The tradition of the Advent Wreath spread among christians during the XVI century, and became a symbol of the period preceding Christmas. Each Sunday during the Advent one candle is lit up, and each one has its own meaning: the candle of Prophets, the one of Bethlehem, that of Shepherds and the one of the Angels. All of them are Violet except for the one of the Third Sunday, which is pink as a symbol of joy for the imminent birth of Baby Jesus.
