Painted Icons

Hand-painted sacred icons are sacred art paintings made according to the Byzantine, Greek or Russian iconographic canon. They are painted on wooden boards with natural pigments and the gold parts are made with 24k gold leaf. The sacred icons are painted with an ancient traditional technique by expert craftsmen, which starts from the darkest colours to arrive at the lighter shades, according to a symbolic procedure that guides from darkness to light. Each icon is a unique piece and it includes a certificate of guarantee and authenticity.
