Canopies and Umbrellas

During liturgical celebrations in the open air, squares or gardens, finely embroided processional canopies and viaticum umbrellas are used. They are movable items with four or more poles, used during processions in order to protect the Holy Sacrament and the Sacred Oils on Maundy Thursdays, or for sacred images, statues or a Saint’s relics. In this section of our shop you may purchase canopies and umbrellas for religious processions, made of precious and resistant fabrics. The embroideries are made with a manual machine using silk threads. The umbrellas are available in different sizes.
